FACTS Qualified Adviser Annual Assessment

FACTS Qualified Adviser Annual Assessment

As of 1st June 2018 there are changes to the requirements for FACTS Qualified Advisers (FQAs). Originally NMP was set up to bring FQAs to one unified professional standard and broaden the FACTS syllabus.

Following industry consultation it was decided that NMP needed simplifying and modernising therefore NMP CPD training and the associated online assessment will no longer be a requirement to retain FQA status.

All FQAs will now be expected to pass the “FQA Annual Assessment” based on a relevant theme. This will be online and organised through the BASIS website.

FQAs will continue to be expected to meet their annual CPD requirement. Whilst it is not compulsory to take training in advance of your assessment – you will gain CPD points for the BASIS Professional Register if you do so.

The set theme and assessments will be active between 1st June and 31st May the following year.
