Fertiliser Advisers Certification and Training Scheme (FACTS)
The “Fertiliser Advisers Certification and Training Scheme” is an important qualification for all those involved in giving nutrient advice. The various Farm Assurance and environmental schemes demand that farm Nutrient Management Plans are drawn up by FACTS qualified people, and NVZ regulations and Cross Compliance measures increase this pressure.
FACTS is designed to achieve a high standard of soil and crop nutrient advice, coupled with a responsible attitude to the environment, and safety. It also ensures that candidates have the confidence and experience to provide this advice in practical situations on the farm.
This FACTS training will therefore suit agronomists, consultants, sales representatives, farmers, environmental advisers, and those involved with non-farm wastes being spread on the land. This training attracts 30 CPD points for the BASIS Professional Register, and 6 CPDs for NRoSO.
For information we offer the England/Wales FACTS content (RB209) not the Scotland syllabus (SRUC Technical Notes).
£748 + £241 BASIS exam fee per person. Total = £989 + VAT. The BASIS exam fee will rise in July 2019 to £246.
There is a 1% training discount per person when booking 2+ places (for groups of 5 or more contact the office for discount information)
